Last night there was an attack on Jews in a restaurant in West Hollywood. The attack was perpetrated by a pro-Palestinian mob who specifically asked who was a Jew as they surrounded the establishment. We call on the law enforcement and government to seek out the perpetrators, prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law and make clear that such crimes of hate will not be tolerated in our city or in our country. Our synagogue security is on heightened alert.
Those of you who wish to talk about what happened, our clergy are here. Anti-Semitism has to be fought everywhere in the world, and we at Sinai who stand with Israel will not succumb to intimidation.
