Young Adults — This is for you!!
Celebrate Sukkot and build meaningful new connections at Luncheon in the Sukkah, presented by TBT and Project B’Yachad. This gathering is exclusively for Central Oregon Jews in their 20s and 30s, creating a dedicated space for peers to meet, socialize, and strengthen community. Join us Sunday, September 27, at 12:30 p.m. for pizza, salads, and non-alcoholic drinks.

Central Oregon Jews of every age are invited to celebrate Sukkot together on Friday, October 2. Families with children and teens, from infants through age 18, will receive a special welcome at this joyful traditional gathering.
Share a light evening dinner, connect with friends old and new, and join the prayers and blessings with our lulav and etrog.

Ever read a really big book and wanted to have a party when you finally got to the end?
Enter Simchat Torah at Temple Beth Tikvah – our annual celebration of reading the Torah! This hands-on evening will be fun for all ages. There will be craft stations, a book nook, and we’ll be unrolling the Torah so you can get right up close to have a look at it!

Shalom JCRS families, I’m excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2026-2027 school year.
Our Religious School meets 2 Sundays a month, and is open to students Kindergarten-7th grade. Our students enjoy a rich curriculum focusing on Torah, holidays, Israel and Jewish values.
The Hebrew school meets once a week, and focuses on Hebrew literacy, tfillot and beginner language skills. Hebrew school starts in 3rd grade, and its 4 years of classes are crucial to ensure students are prepared for Bnei Mitzvah instruction.

Dear prospecting families of BBYO in Bend!
We are so excited to invite you to the first annual Shalom Teva Fall term kickoff!
It will be at Drake Park on Sunday October 4th from 1 pm – 3 pm. Pizza and sodas will be provided, participation is free.
The main goal of the whole event is to just have a great time and get kids excited about joining the BBYO Jewish youth program in Bend.
Just to remind you all, my name is Izzy and I’m the current president of the Shalom Teva BBYO chapter in Bend.

My vision for BBYO in Bend is fairly simple, I would like to meet up at least once a month at an organized location based on what everyone in the chapter is currently interested in. I think for shabbat, if a certain amount of people are interested on occasional Fridays, we could do a dinner or ceremony of some sort based on what the chapter feels like doing. Along with all these Bend based activities, there will also be conventions around Oregon every so often, a convention is when every chapter in Oregon gathers in one place (usually for a couple days) and we have on giant party/ meeting.
If you are interested in joining, it’s a one time fee. You can join BBYO starting 8th grade – 12. Membership is covered throughout high school until graduation. Additional information is below and/or we are happy to chat to answer any questions you may have!

Greetings to all my (new potential) friends in Bend!
My name is Izzy Yaeger and I’m a 14 year old who just graduated from Pacific Crest Middle School and will be starting at Summit High School in the fall. I play soccer for the Bend FC club and I do M.B.S.E.F. in the winter. If I were to describe my BB Camp experience in one sentence, I would say that it has shaped me into the person I am today and I’m so grateful because of it. Last summer, I had my bar mitzvah, and I had the time of my life. That entire year, I spent so much time and effort preparing, and let me just say, it was worth it.
Why I want to start or rather revive the BBYO chapter in Bend…
I believe that right now, in this day and age, it is more important than ever for Jewish kids and adults alike to come together. And that is exactly why I am reviving the Bend BBYO chapter. Ever since my first year at camp, being Jewish has become more than just a religion to me, it has become something that I am truly passionate about. That is why pursuing the BBYO Bend chapter means so much to me, I want to help other Jewish kids in my community experience the same joy I do from being Jewish.
