Many new things are happening at JCCO – Congregation Shalom Bayit (CSB). 2020/2021 will be the first year celebrating our recent affiliation with Reconstructing Judaism (RJ) and with our new Rabbi, Yossi Feintuch. Like our synagogue’s unique historical commitment to being an all-inclusive community that welcomes newcomers, interfaith families, and Jews by choice, we find the Reconstructionist approach to Judaism, and life, closely matches our community’s moral fiber. With its deep consideration of Judaism’s past and a passion to relate it to the present, this affiliation was a natural fit for CSB. With our official “affiliation”, we hope to attract newcomers to Central Oregon as well as appeal to those who are already here but have not been members of the local Jewish community, or, who were once, but have dropped away.
That said – we cannot begin to grow without your help. As “they” say – time, treasure, talent. We need it all. We need you all! We welcome people of all financial means. We do not discriminate on the basis of age, gender, race, or sexual orientation. We have members of all ages and backgrounds. So, as we begin this new year, a year of new beginnings, we hope that you will join us. We have suggested amounts on the form but all contributions are valued. If you feel you can give more, we would be ever grateful. Giving less is OK, too. Only you know how much works with your budget.
Fill in the Annual Membership Pledge below, indicating the annual amount and your preferred payment schedule, then click the SUBMIT button at the bottom. If you can, please mail us a check as it will save us about 3%. Make it payable to JCCO Shalom Bayit. If a credit card is your preferences, visit http://jccobend.org/support-shalom-bayit/ — once you click through, this will be handled by a secure site. This is a Pledge form. You can pay annually (due Sept 1), Semi-annually (due Sep 1/Mar 1), Quarterly (due Sep 1/Dec 1/Mar 1/Jun 1), or monthly.
